Found permanent homes for both puppies! My mom adopted the little boy and my friend Brian adopted the girl. So happy for both of them and miss them very much.

Here are a few (overly yellow, yet to be edited) photographs of a flour happening I performed this past month. I dumped 350lbs of bread flour in the middle of the room and kicked it around until it completely covered the surface of the floor, creating a very hazy atmosphere. Then I got down on hands and knees and swept it all back into its original state with my forearms, leaving marks from my action in the leftover flour. The flour became a drawing material, a means of documentation.

permalink Oh hey, here’s a piece I did last spring.

permalink Get up close and personal with my vegetarian biscuits and gravy. Very simple recipe:
Throw a tablespoon or so of earth balance in a pan. As it melts down add some flour, pepper, cumin, and salt to make a paste. While you’ve got this going give your vegetarian sausage a quick fry. I do this because it can be very chewy and raw if you don’t cook it alone before adding to the gravy. After you’ve thrown the sausage on, get back to the paste mixture and add milk. I really don’t have exact measurements because it’s likely you’ll be fine eye balling everything. If it’s not at the consistency you like, well you’ll know what to add more of or less of next time. That more or less of will likely be milk or flour. Okay, back to that gravy. Throw the sausage in with the gravy, which should be pretty thick after five or ten minutes. Give a few minutes to let the sausage mingle with the gravy and become super delicious. Serve and enjoy over biscuits of your choosing!
